Welcome to our
Atelier for Storytelling
Writing is our passion & vocation
We are both screenwriters and film and television dramaturges. We met 25 years ago while we were studying at the Film University in Babelsberg and married two years later. If you put our CVs together, we come up with more than 400 screenplays that have been made into films, countless concepts that have been sold, various jobs as chief authors and responsible dramaturges, teaching activities at the Film University in Babelsberg, publications in specialist books and renowned nominations and prizes for projects in which we have played a leading or executive role. i.a. nomination for the German Human Rights Film Award, the German Film Award and the Silver Bear.
Our mission
We want to share our knowledge & passion and have therefore created the Atelier for Storytelling in a unique setting right on the Atlantic Ocean.
Twice a year, our loft becomes a workspace to work intensively on your texts in different Ateliers on various topics.
We give you a deep insight into the different narrative structures and enable you to develop your stories on a professional level.
It doesn't matter if you're a professional or a layman: all that matters is your enthusiasm for good stories and that you have a topic that's burning in your heart.
The Ateliers in spring are dedicated to writing prose. We will also regularly invite other authors to join us on the Atlantic Ocean.
The Ateliers in autumn are all about cinematic storytelling and will be held by us, although we will always invite colleagues to support us.
If you don't want to miss any advertisements, get in touch here, to be informed about the new dates.
We look forward to you!
